i) its fake and therefore nothing matters in movies, or
ii) its glorifying something un-ideal and therefore sex, killing, whatever is not okay even in movies.
But it does raise a question about why we think society is so moral and good when our movies seem to be pretty dodgey. We secretly like the bad stuff even though we act like 'upright citizens'
One thing what I took away from that discussion was kinda about what message 'they' are trying to get across using these events (eg the sex or violence). What way of thinking they are trying to get you to "buy into" - even when its subtle.
