The Da Vinci Code

We're spending several weeks with The Da Vinci Code...

Tuesday 30 May:
you'll find us at the movie 6.15pm at Hoyts Moorhouse
with pizza before hand: 5.30/5.45pm-ish
in the foyer of the theatre complex.

Tuesdays 6, 13, 20, 27 June (8-9.15pm):
We'll be discussing some questions that arise from the movie...

Questions like...
Would it have been wrong for Jesus to marry?
Did the church suppress gospels?
Is God male? Goddess?
Has the church excluded women?
How should we view Mary Magdalene?

Everyone is welcome to join us at Espresso...
a discussion based, cafe dwelling congregation
of Opawa Baptist Church

Foyer Cafe, Opawa Baptist Church,
cnr Hastings and Wilsons, Christchurch.
